Tippie: From My hair to Yours
I typically use rubber bands for when I do flat twists to hold the style in place; however, I was having issues during removal as the bands would tear my hair. While watching a video on Youtube the vlogger mentioned placing oil on the bands. After doing this for a year into my journey I can definitely say that it has alleviated the previous issue.
I keep my rubber bands in a small container and cover them with coconut oil. That's it. Easy right? The oil keeps the bands lubricated, thus it doesn't dry out my hair and the rubber band will burst on its own after a period of time in my hair or I slip it right out.
God Bless you
